Joe Gandelman - Family Entertainer does shows for ALL ages and ALL occasions.
He has done his show in countless -- and often colorful -- venues
throughout the country. He has performed on huge historical
vaudeville stages, at school assemblies, at private homes,
on boats, restaurants, at fairs and festivals -- also in
the back of a pickup truck and in a Pig Barn Arena in Texas.
His shows are PROVEN LAUGHTER-GETTERS, whether he's doing a
customized show at a big corporate event, or
performing at a picnic, fair, festival, in a variety show,
a school assembly, private adult or children's party.
He performs from coast-to-coast doing
approximately 400 shows across the country each year
Joe Gandelman did a three hour how to do ventriloquism-workshop for
The Bascom Group of Irvine, CA.
Here is a comment from one of the employees:
Joe Gandelman’s "How to do Ventriloquism" workshop helped show my colleagues
and I the importance of developing a specialty and turning a weekend hobby
into a profession. I would recommend Joe’s workshop to anyone for any occasion.
It was a fun, entertaining, and a downright hilarious experience that shined a
light on deeper meanings, such as setting goals and being consistent with a
practice. Not only did we all have some great laughs, but we took a lot from
the experience. Thomas Huxley, the famous 18th century biologist explained it
perfectly when he said, "Try to learn something about everything and everything
about something". Joe, is a prime example of someone who has mastered a craft
and loves to share it with the world. Three thumbs up (my thumb and two from
the puppet)!
A quote from a letter about a recent show for
a group in Balboa Park, San Diego:"I want to thank you for the
wonderful show you put on at The House of Pacific Relations. It was a
great hit for all ages. We represent thirty-two countries. I had a
friend from England with me and he said he has seen many
ventriloquists, but you are the best.
Thank you again. It was great!"
Feedback from a teacher at Oka Elementary School, in Huntington Beach, CA after Joe did five assemblies there with a pro-reading theme:
I am a fifth grade teacher at Oka Elementary, and we were lucky enough to have you visit our school today for an assembly. You also visited us last year. I just want to let you know that my whole class and myself agree that you are our favorite performer/assembly/visitor of the whole year. You are so talented, and so hilarious, we were all looking forward to your visit again this year! Your skit makes us all laugh so hard, especially me! I laughed so hard I cried, for two years in a row now! I came right home and showed my husband your website and that great SpyTV video, so funny! Overall, I just want to thank you for bringing so much joy into my students' lives, and mine as well! It's just what we all needed today, some comic relief:) Keep up the good work, and hope to see you again next year! As we walked out of the assembly today, I had at least 5 students come up to me and say they wish they could stay and listen to you all day(me too)! Thanks again.
